I have recently set up my college email account on Outlook After I finish setting up the account, I would constantly get a pop up named Internet Email and in this pop up is my user name and password.
Although it is already filled in, it keeps popping up and I have to click ok several times before Outlook synchronizes with the college email account. I don’t know what software program is generating this popup but I have had this come up before.
I am running Windows 10 Build I worked with a tech rep from Wave Broadband for some time and he verified that my email ID and password were both correct. I have removed my email account and re-added it two or three times. The popup finally disappeared this was 3 or 4 months ago.
My email has been working with no problems until about a week or so ago. The popup reappeared and has been a virtual pain in the neck. After a lot of searching and superb help from my Exchange provider I found a resolution to my problem by deleting a couple of invalid autodiscover registry entries. If I click cancel it disappears and Outlook connects to Exchange without and problems but it shouldn’t be prompting. I can see the entry in the credential manager as well.
